My freshman year of college, I walked everywhere with a camera hanging around my neck. Torn between a genuine love of photography and a sincere worry that I would forget friends and memories, I snapped photos of everyone and everything. I wanted to pause life and remember forever the pouty lips of my niece, the laughter wrinkles outside my dad's eyes and that I'm-so-in-love-with-you look on my husband's face. My photos became my diary; they exposed every moment that I found beautiful or simply worth holding onto.
Thanks to my photos, I remember how wonderful life has been and can be. And I want that for others. I want that for you! I treasure the opportunity I have to capture real, genuine moments and celebrate them through photography!
Treasure the messy and cherish the beautiful. Celebrate what life is like right now.
